Creating a space for positive momentum
Here, I'll discuss how I foster a positive and engaging learning space for my students, where they feel motivated, encouraged, and safe. I believe that the environment is just as important as the curriculum. Explore how I create an atmosphere conducive to growth and learning.

Positive momentum in action
My classroom environment is designed to create positive momentum. I aim for a space where students feel motivated, engaged, and encouraged to keep moving forward. This is achieved through a combination of structured activities, positive reinforcement, and a focus on student well-being. Evidence of this lesson plan's emphasis on engagement

Fun, meaningful health and activity
I want students to leave my classroom knowing that being active and taking care of their health can be fun, meaningful, and part of who they are. To accomplish this, I incorporate games, interactive lessons, and real-world examples into my PE/Health curriculum. Student work samples, video clips of active participation (with consent), and reflections on the effectiveness of different activities provide evidence of this approach.

Overcoming challenges
Managing a large, active space while keeping every student safe, engaged, and on task is always a challenge. I address this by establishing strong routines and clear expectations. Detailed lesson plans that outline safety procedures, visual aids displaying rules, and journal entries reflecting on classroom management strategies demonstrate my commitment to a safe and productive learning environment.
Welcoming, encouraging, positive energy, safe and supportive, active and engaging, inclusive for everyone, student-centered,
These are the words that describe my classroom at its best.
